ANIMAL FARM: POST RUSSIAN REVOLUTION OF 1917

The story starts with Major who is the Oldest Pig in the Barn (represents Vladimir Lenin) calls for a meeting to explain to all the Barn Animals that Man (Capitalist) is making them over work and taking away all the produce including milk, eggs to get money for his luxury while the Animals who worked hard for the produce, suffer and are underfed. He instigates them to revolt and bring about a change so that the produce and the efforts that they put in are all for their consumption and their benefit (Communism).  Major is old and almost on this death bed. His ideals are implemented by 2 vanguards Snowball (Leroy Trotsky) and Napoleon (Joseph Stalin) who try to create commandments to motivate the Animals and help them overthrow Man. Once Man is thrown out of the Barn, Napoleon and Snowball along with Boxer and Clover, hens and cows (working class who believed in the ideology of Leninism) start working towards producing crops for the animals self consumption. PILGRIMS OF THE MAYFLOWER

 In the Patriotic Song titled America, the poet calls America "Land of the Pilgrims Pride". About 400 years ago, 13 years after the first English Settlement in America called James Town, there was another group of people who came to America to seek freedom of religion. They wanted to worship their God different from the Church of England and formed their own Congregation called Saints. The Saints came under persecution in England. Many of these Saints moved to Holland, Netherlands seeking religious freedom. These immigrants could not find jobs in Holland and parents did not like the bad influence the local culture was having on their children. The Saints (along with their Family) went back to England. They were again persecuted in England and sent to prisons. They wanted to go to America and they bargained and paid for passage along to Atlantic Ocean on to ships called the Speedwell and the Mayflower. THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTION

Formation of the first Communist State The Tsar believed that their family had an autocracy over Russia and there was hardly any democracy. The last Tzar was Nicholas II. His mistakes brought the empire to its fall, but no one predicted Vladimir Lenin to be the one who would cease control in chaos. Romanov empire fall to a group of revolutionaries (Joseph Stalin). Lenin realized that it's not the popular support or the number, it's paralyzing the country by occupying the key points (telephone and railway junction). In this revolution the middle class community was more active than the rich and poor. Revolver and high explosive dynamites were invented in 19th century which was easily available to the young revolutionaries. Mar 13, 1881, Saint Petersburg Tsar, Alexander the II was on his way to an army roll call in his bullet proof carriage when he got attacked by Narodnaya Volya (People's Will).
